I currently have a 1080 ti with a ryzen 5 2600X. I can't get over 80 fps on Destiny 2 in any mode (gambit, PvP, on any destination) and I don't know what to do. I tried everything: reconfiguruing nvidia panel, tried every graphics settings in-game, deleted cvar files, changed window mode, deleted the entire game and re-installed it, updated chipset and gpu drivers...). I'm lost. Any help would be really appreciated

By mere chance - do you have one GPU or two? I'm on AMD side, and I have two. I couldn't disable Crossfire, and game performed terribly. Now only few areas in the world (like Martian Gambit map, northern part of cavern area) causes FPS drops, but all other places it is smooth 60 FPS in 1440p. Also, try to a) disable v-sync (for testing purposes), and b) try to lower rendered percentage, to see if there are any differences. Yes, I read you wrote you tried different settings, but try these two in combination.

Cookie cutter response but. Please list what resolution and settings you are playing at. 80fps on ultra with a 125% render resolution for example would be normal.

Is the frame rate capped in Destinys settings? Is VSync turned on? Do you have Geforce Experience set to let the application control visual settings?

Lol my 30fps is laughing at this right now

Your PC is outdated.
