its really annoying and limiting if you arent skilled enough to deal with the latest broken weapon in crucible this week its lord of wolves.

The quest is supposed to prevent people like you from getting it

Stop making PVE a part of exotic quests...see how ridiculous this game is?
-
It's been a thing since Vanilla D1 and its probs not gonna change. They just need to fix pvp so it's not trash for newer players
-
If the exotic is either 1) Good in PvP (Last Word) or 2) Connected to PvP in the lore (Thorn), then having some PvP steps is fine. If not, then no.
-
how else is Bungie going to get people to play PVP?

Stop making exotics part of crucible quests.

The quest for Thorn was one of the best initially, it had several steps you could accomplish through pve or pvp, I thought the quest was perfect until I hit the pvp only part after. 😕 I actually think adding multiple ways to complete quests isn’t a bad thing and providing options like that was one of their best design decisions. Also before any idiot claims “you just want everything through pve” that’s not what I’m saying. I’m not asking for pinnacle weapons, Luna’s/NF, or 1k voices. I’m just saying that having multiple ways to complete quests and allowing people to do the content they personally enjoy is a better game design decision.

I agree whole heartedly with this. I have friends who aren’t the best in Crucible and every time they hear a new exotic requiring things in Crucible they just sigh and give up. I’m good in Crucible and that’s fine by me, but what people need to understand is people like my friends aren’t always good at stuff like that (my friends average getting a max of 4 to 3 kills, yes that bad, they don’t play pvp games). And it sucks when I get to hold and use this new weapon in front of them and I have no way of getting them through it and enjoying it with them. This divides the experience and makes for a lot of sad players.
