They didn't ignore me, because I didn't lose my mind over nerfing imaginary guns in a video game.
Stop thinking that this place losing its mind requires an immediate response from Bungie. Until it learns how to give positive feedback, I don't -blam!-ing blame them. They said they'd review the nerfs and take feedback after they went live. You weren't going to get "oh our bad, we're not nerfing Whisper" from the TWAB. They actually went beyond the call of duty last week detailing why they were doing the nerfs.
Anyone who thought this week's TWAB was going to be that, well. Can't help you.

“Beyond the Call off Duty” how is detailing why something needs an adjust not an obvious thing to do
-
Because they could have just said "For balance reasons, we are nerfing Whisper" and nothing else?
-
The forums populated by players of the game blowing up about a problem doesn’t require immediate attention? That’s weird
-
To quote meself:
No no. That's not customer service. You're asking dev teams that follow strict rules and release times to react to the greater populace immediately. There also could be internal conversations that need to happen before releasing information to the public. As someone in software, I can tell you that is a very unwise choice to do almost always. There's a ton you risk in doing that, and it may create a bigger mess to clean up later.
We’re not asking for an immediate change just at least an acknowledgment that all the majority of players are very upset by changes especially when the company always claims to be listening to the community when they clearly aren’t. Many games take advice and criticism from the players and adapt which Bungie has continuously refused to do. And there’s no way bungie could possibly make a bigger mess
-
I'm...not gonna go into the details, and trust me I know that bungie can do a lot more to be better about all this. But I can definitely say that one has to be woefully ignorant to think they're not listening and changing stuff periodically based on feedback.
-
I think the huge majority will agree they aren’t changing anything based on feedback and your -blam!- if you think they actually do lmao
-
They actually are making the changes based on feedback. Simply playing the game gives Bungie feedback about what gear players are using in each activity.

The forums AREN'T the huge majority. Six thousand people upvoted one of the threads here about the nerfs. The game has hundreds of thousands of players on a given day. Let's just say the game has 300K players. That's two hundred and ninety four thousand people that did not upvote that thread. I know you might be amazed by this, but Bungie is NOT going to respond to the average forum goer's "FIX IT SCUMGIE." Because that's not feedback. That's being a child. Hell, some children could probably provide better feedback.
-
I don’t only count the forums there are plenty of players complaining about this on other platforms. If bungie was doing any sort of good job there wouldn’t be players dumping this game by the thousands (which is huge now considering how few people still play this)

No, the FORUM think that. The forum is a cesspool, and you damn well know that.
