These Salt Mines run deep

These Forums are still on fire! TWAB this, TWAB that, woah is me. This is nothing new fellow Guardians. Balancing and changing the Meta is common place in these game types. Seriously ask yourself, as a Destiny player about the exotics that are being toned back. In PVE activities certain exotics have reign supreme for quite awhile. These would be WotW, Skull of Dire, Orphius Rigs. When is the last time you have seen a Warlock not wearing SoDA in a PVE activity(besides a Well Warlock)? WotW destroys the heavy ammo economy by allowing infinite heavy ammo(hence the use of this weapon as a crutch). Zero Hour is the perfect example of how WotW is over powered. Feeling powerful in the world of Destiny definitely matters to me as well, by no means am I defending these changes. Just looking at it from another perspective. I have to assume that this balancing is to level the playing field for Crown of Sorrows. Bungie knows what they are doing, this is their world. Your feedback will be listened to(constructive) and more adjustments will be made. So many of the new post are only reflecting peoples disdain for the changes. Its almost as if most of these posts see the word nerf and jump on the bandwagon. WotW will still pull from reserves/18 rounds, still a DPS machine. It cannot be your crutch! You like using constant Nova Bombs(ME TOO), SoDA will still give back Super. We don't know how much or little until June 4th.

  • Bungie did this to themselves. Why would they even consider bringing back a weapon that was a problem in D1? Did they think they would get different results by doing the exact same thing? They could have easily avoided this by not bringing it back or bringing back the nerfed version. Instead, they brought back the original version they knew was a problem. They then boasted about how powerful it was.
