I’d rather longer, more engaging bosses etc with more phases. Nothing complex like spire of stars boss though.
Add more phases, cap damage before shielded phases, add more add control phases, whatever. But making me weak isn’t fun.
I understand it is hard to balance power fantasy and complexity, but surely it can be done.

No more immune phases. Just give them phases withozt immunity aand massive amount of health.

More bullet sponges? Hell no. I HATE immunity phases but I’d double up on those before I’d create any more bullet sponges. You wanna talk about unsatisfying to play and lazy to make...

I’m not talking about weak bosses. All bosses should take a while to down. But if the ONLY notable thing about the boss battle is that it takes 548 clips to take them down, that’s a poor design. There should be some element of mechanics or at least battle progression.

I agree. But Bungie has to stop with immune phases. Just give them during "special abilities" super high resistance instead of a "no damage" shield...
