I mean, in my personal opinion some of the best looking exotics or the ones with interesting lore such as Winters Guile, while having an interesting ability, but it isnt as EFFECTIVE as it could be. Meanwhile the Karnstein Armlets after several reworks is better then an ENTIRE SUBCLASS BRANCH, im not saying that they are broken im just saying that they are that much better then the devour subclass, which needs more AoE, DAMAGE and DURATION, i mean you are sticking people into a black hole it should be a little more effective than this.
Hell bring back the obsidian mind or the ram from D1 to give it a boost. I miss dunking novas into peoples faces at the last second of a crucible match for the win T.T

I've had a pair of Orpheus Rigs on my Hunter almost my entire playtime in D2. I'm going to see how they perform, but if they suck (they already kind of do compared to their original state), I'll just switch up my entire playstyle. I never gave Six Shooter a good go. Maybe I'll play a neutral exotic (Lucky Pants, Foe Tracer, etc.), and use Golden Gun.

I agree, Bungie should at least do something to the under used exotics. I don't think they fully understand that with the Super Regenerating exotics, the difference can be made up with Super Mods stacked on armor and Bonus Energy perks like Pump Action, Light Reactor, etc. The unique perks for all the under used exotics should be looked at. If Bungie wants players to use more variation, they need to shift power to them so they are more generally useful rather than situational. For example, Mechaneer's Tricksleeves only affect Sidearms and hardly anyone uses Sidearms. And the fact you have to be critically wounded AND swap to a sidearm makes this exotic super situational.
