Hear me out. Why can't we just have Destiny 2 for a few more years instead of another damn game? Keep developing the game with content, we have given enough money to Bungie for them to give us good amount of content drops obviously they won't do it because "mAkinG coNteNt iZ haRd" but what if it was like this? Look at Warframe and other game devs I still can't believe they release HUGE updates with literally zero money charged. Then on the other hand we have Bungo who will ask for a 60$ launch game plus 2 over priced meaningless expansions totalling 40
Then another expansion to fix all the shit they did for another 40 bucks plus ANOTHER 30 bucks for more Gambit crap being shoved down our throats and so called new content.
I just hope Bungie snaps the hell out. Enough is enough man, I've been a fan since day 1. I can't believe how much money I have given them, sometimes I say it's worth it but this new crap bungie just pulled with the nerfing and all that makes me question was it really worth it?
Anyways what do you guys think? You on board with Destiny 2 support for a few years or another half assed launch with over priced expansions aka Destiny3. If that is the case I can assure you I won't fall for it again
Shame on me if I fall for it the 3rd time
-
So No D3 and if we keep on current path we will eventually all be using nerf guns to fight division 1 bullet sponges? Yeah no thank you.
-
I don’t know if I‘ll play till the end of D2, but I‘ll definitely WON‘T buy D3!
-
D2 is rotten to the core. Good FPS Yes, but probably the worst RPG ever created. Unrewarding, horrible UI, absolutely no real options for customization, RNG only crap, cheap. These are some of the words I would describe this game. Everyone defending it is delusional andprobqbly hasnt played any other game for four years
-
Hell no. D2 is a placeholder at best. This version of Destiny cannot end soon enough.
-
What if we sold D1 to a studio that had a clue of what the true 10 year plan looked like and forget D2 was ever hatched ?
-
No. Its just a big no from me. D2 has far to many issue for me to want to continue with it. They took too many chances in the beginning trying to spread to pc and also increase numbers all round, then after realizing it was the more hardcore community that kept the game populated tried to remedy things. As it is we have a hodpodge of stuff aimed at a variety of gamer types from casual to hardcore but there no real substance to any of it. Then when you add in the idea that they've brought in many strong guns and exotics to only nerf them, there aren't enough options available to successfully drag this title out for too long. As it is we have already entered a time that looks similar to D1 Y3 and no body was happy with that. The sooner they get D3 going the better. The only concern is whether they leant from D1 and D2 and are capable of giving us a game as good we all know this can be. But they definitely can't do that with D2. Either way I wont be buying D3 until its out and I can see how it really is. Im not willing to pay in advance for any more Destiny anything. They burnt me before.

Editado por Kylo_Russ: 5/21/2019 9:13:49 PMI would rather have constant D1 support
-
I would rather return to Destiny 1 with a crap ton of new content. Besides, this company is destined to fail. We may not even see a D3 release.
-
I had this idea about D1 but as you can see Bungie didn’t listen
-
I would rather have them update d1
-
This would be great if D2 wasn’t absolute horse shit. A D1 continuation would be much better.
-
D3 is a chance at a fresh start for bungie on ps5! All the things they got wrong and all the things they got right they will have learned (we hope) and can make the most epic space shooter ever! I hope it is !!

-
I would be all for the idea if the game was being handled by a different developer. But bungie has showed that they don’t really know how to support a game for long periods of time.
-
WHAT IF we never played Destiny again?
-
It doesn’t matter either way to me. I’m not spending another penny until Bungie listens to their player base. I gifted forsaken to a friend just before the TWAB. Would have never done so if I knew what they were going to do. Said friend enjoys the game, thankfully. At least he got 2 weeks of it being the way it should I guess.
-
No. Destiny 2 is a failed experiment....and is suffering from a TON of unresolved design issues. Bungie has tried to wallpaper over them....but has not been that successful at it.
Warframe and other game devs I still can't believe they release HUGE updates with literally zero money charged.
Where do you think all that money people paid to get Platinum is going? Even if you aren't personally.paying cash for it....someone else did at some point. NOTHING in life is truly free...its only a matter of who gets stuck paying for it . MMO like games are expensive to make...and expensive to maintain. Part of the problem IS Bungie. But part of the problem is that console gamers want that MMO level of service....but they don't want to PAY the fair market value of that service.
-
The franchise would die.
-
No, I think at this point we need a brand new game for Bungie to start completely fresh on Destiny 2 had a terrible first year, and they've failed to follow through and make the game as great as it could be
-
The main reason why this will never work is because the next gen console is going to be out soon. A new game needs to be made for those specs and on a better engine.
-
It would still be shit. Bungie needs to SCRAP their current engine/systems, and start from the ground up. If they make D3, they need to take their time and get the shit right on the first try. They always talked about how their current engine is outdated and it takes ages to get anything done with it, so if that doesn't change, there is no future for Destiny.
-
I'd have said yes if this was d1 towards the end. But I think too much needs to change with d2 to ever make it viable for that kind of lifespan. I mean we still have less content than d1 at this point.
-
Next-gen console release would like to have a word with you.
-
I could live with that.
-
I'm personally fine with a D3. In my eyes, the reason they made D2 was a chance to soft reboot and fix mistakes made with the first game. I think given all that has happened they may need to do that again, and that's ok. My clan and I play this game a lot, for almost all of us it's our main game and we have thousands of hours over the 5 years the series has been out. The price of the expansions doesn't bother me at all lol
