Oh no you don't, lol. It's a hell of a lot more than the nerfing that will cause D3 to not make sales as D1 nor D2 did. IMO this is why. When Bungie was creating D2, not one single time did they ask for the player base input on important changes they were making to the game, no surveys, no polls, nada. The single biggest mistake this company made creating D2. Here it is however long Bungie has been worked on D3 and has Bungie even bothered at all to get the player base input, especially knowing how D2 base game released and the player base Bungie lost, etc? [spoiler]Nope[/spoiler] This alone will cause the same thing to happen with D3 as it did with D2 and D1. Yes, this is a theory, but something that will most likely happen knowing (Bungie literally doesn't have the manpower) working on 3 projects to create a decent game and that is straight out the fact as of right now, and all anyone has to do is look at D2. This is nothing personal to Bungie, nor anyone that likes the game, just saying. This is my theory, if you don't like how I post things, don't read it. This way an unnecessary conversation won't take place. [spoiler]1. Bungie will get set back the entire first year because of the changes they will make without getting feedback from the player base just like D2. 2. It's most likely the game will get a reboot like D1 and D2. 3. The first 2 expansions will be like D1 and D2. I'm not looking forward to that at all. 4. Bungie as usual like D1 and D2 will put out a nice video telling the player base how they made all these wonderful changes and new things "how they have listened to the player base". I wonder how well that is going to go knowing they haven't bothered to involve the player base in either D2 or D3. 5. They will tell the player base that the game is going to have its issues as they have with D1 and D2, and they will be working on the game to improve things. Meaning having the manpower to be able to handle the game. Hmm, working on 3 projects literally says otherwise. 6. Bungie once again will tell the player base something like how they made things easier for the sandbox, how they will have regular updates on regular basses just like D2 etc... As we see in D2 and how all that has been handled. Not going to happen not having that manpower working on 3 projects prior to D3 being released, and even then working on their new IP and D3. 7. Bungie will still be using that same engine from Halo days that they are using right now creating D3, that just so happens to have coding issues. IMO it's time this company catches up to the 21st century as other companies have, but that won't happen. 8. It's most likely from the rumors going around that D3 is being created for "hardcore gamers", that the loot system will be the same if not worse then it is now, and that's not includes the progression, the economy, and the wonderful Tess that will most likely get more attention then any other vendor in the entire game. This is going to be really interesting to see how that works out as well.[/spoiler] This is just a tasted of what I believe will happen. If they don't learn from D1 and D2? D3 is going to be another huge mess and all that nerfing that happened in D1 and D2 will happen in D3 as well.

D3 will probably get cancelled once the player base drops to a point where the development investment is no longer profitable

Just when I was thinking of it bungie pulled the same dick move right before the launch of destiny 2 by nerfing a whole load of things in the first game. So if I’m right about this bungie is getting ready to launch either a new dlc or D3 which is the most stupid idea ever

Yeah, the nerfs will keep coming in Destiny 3 too. They did it in D1 and now they're undoing all the good they had with Destiny 2. I actually enjoyed playing Destiny 2. Played almost everyday since September 2018. I refuse to play this game anymore, it will keep getting worse. All those devs left for a reason. They bailed from a sinking ship, same with Activision. Bungie is trying to destroy this franchise, so who am I to stop them? I quit playing a few days ago and it feels good. I'll never go back to playing this toxic game.

I think Bungie should just sell Destiny property, characters, story, all related items to Destiny so another game developer can create and fix the game we all loved...

I said I'm done. Haven't played in a while but I don't wish D3 or anything before it to fail I hope the game becomes good, I love the franchise, I'll be playing opulence after a couple weeks, maybe closer to September after release just cause I paid for it but if there's a annual pass or DLC I won't pre order no matter how the road map looks. I'm just going to wait and see what they offer.

Wait until Year 2 of Destiny 3 So that Bungie can give it the QoL update it will badly need, and sell the Year 2 Comet DLC with all of D3Y1 included for £25/$30

Its funny that people freak out saying everything is completely and utterly Bungies fault and Activision did nothing wrong. What made D1 not have a story? Oh thats right some dickshit from activision came in, read the story Joseph Staten wrote, got confused and had it rebooted a year before launch. What made Martin O'Donnel leave? Activision digging in and controlling bungo. Eververse was created because games and dlcs are expensive as -blam!-, but who perverted it and made it the endgame of D2 Y1? Oh, right, Activision. I'm not saying Bungie doesn't make stupid decisions, because they do, we all do. But the biggest mistake was trusting Activision.

You'll pre-order Destiny 3, buy all the DLC, and play it for 3 straight years. No one, especially Bungie, is fooled by these posts. That's why they get away with all their bad decisions, because no matter what, no matter how much people complain and threaten to stop playing, they don't. If you really wanted change, you wouldn't give them any more of your time and money. That goes for everyone else who is not satisfied. And by the way, you can say shit on these forums.
