Even devoting at least two hours per week to do Spider bounties and a few powerful gear activities on just two characters would net you an absolute guarantee of 12 cores per week. And during that time it's very likely scrapper bounties, finest matterweave and cores will pop out of legendaries that just get sharded, which means you should easily walk away with around 20 per week. Be smart when infusing, try out different armor variants until you either have the appropriate materials or simply chew the cud and deal with a few perks you don't want. If you no longer play a game and have nothing more to contribute, don't even bother attempting to tear it down when your presence has gone unnoticed otherwise.
