Here are the simple facts.
You were restricted not banned.
To get a crucible/Gambit restriction you were reported by a number of players over a number of games (even days) just to get Bungie's attention. You were then investigated and found to have a issue with your internet causing lag and then the restriction was issued.
Bungie does not talk about cases to individuals and for no reason will allow you back early.
Use this time to look into and fix your internet connection mainly your signal latency.

Yeah I guess that must be it? I just found it so strange considering I’ve never received messages of salt re lag or connection. And now I think about I’ve also never had any issues at all with any other online multiplayer games I play. I’ve never had a warning from Bungie either, my game runs really smooth, fastest load time for most activities when playing with friends or even random teammates; they’ve never reported any issues to me regarding my gameplay or interaction. I don’t get kicked from activities, hence why I found it really random. I have no idea what signal latency means - I’m really not tech savvy in any sense, I know my internet is fast and I use a cable and that’s almost as far as it goes haha. Ive got a mate sussing it for me but we can’t really find an issue. Oh well two weeks of reflection and strikes 😂
