F*cksake man!
I went all out as a console peasant defending the PC Master Race in response to your earlier heartfelt ban appeal, and here you are admitting you're a game developer with associated software installed? I even went as far as making the argument with a Bungie defender that players who are in game/Web design would know enough to partition Destiny 2 off from the rest of the drive.
I honestly don't know why I even waste time on these forums now. If you're out there, dcbaseball, I take it all back.
To all of you PC cheaters/hackers/exploiters bleating in these forums about your ban....good riddance! And to those like OP here who've gone and bought the game again despite not learning your lesson the first time...Lmfao!
Bungie have got your money (again) and they don't care!

I feel ya Not knowing is one thing But the policy is very clear on this software even i understand this And someone who uses this stuff should have enough knowing from the meta than an average gamer Please don’t give up jet you are a nice one just be more critical But i understand when you don’t have the nerves for it after that If this is the case Thank you for standing with us (the Unintentionally ones (which are a minority that is what i learned ) and for all the nice words and effort you spend May the light be always with you guardian

I've calmed down a little bit now. Snorted a Tincture of Queensfoil and chowed down on some Spicy Ramen. This guy just made me look stupid. I will say this though: as a customer service tool there should be a generic message relating to each ban. 'Third Party software detected'; 'regular disconnects while matchmade with other players'; 'maximum warnings exceeded' etc. My point about changing terms and conditions/smallprint after purchase still stands. Still, no forums tonight. I'm off to lay waste to The Dreaming City!

I have a dedicated drive for Destiny 2, and as previously mentioned, I run no cheats. Which is the whole purpose of this thread. I don't want to get banned again for seemingly no reason. I'm sorry I made you feel betrayed, that was not my intention. I appreciate the time you took out of your day to write that comment defending me. Right now, I've given up hope on a ban appeal, but that doesn't mean that I admit guilt. It just means that I am able to see that this is going nowhere. Hope you have a good day. EDIT: I wrote about the fact that I'm a SOFTWARE developer on a previous post on the thread you defended me on. I'm not trying to misguide users or make myself seem like someone I'm not. I'm not even aware of how to cheat in Destiny 2, I've never coded anything game related. Maybe I should just sell all my fancy hardware and buy a console. At least then I can play safe in the knowledge that I won't be banned out of the blue for absolutely no reason. I don't care if you believe me. You're just a stranger in the internet like I am to you. Hey at this point I don't even care about getting unbanned. Don't think I'll be spending a lot of time on Destiny anymore. I just wanted to gather information on what could have gotten me banned to share with my clan because I don't want them to get banned (or myself, but I pretty much just banned myself by deciding not to play anymore.

I've been having fun with it since they became part of infusion months ago, after my initial reaction of "WTF?!" same as everyone else. Then I took a step back and approached it like I would a quest; ie "what's the most efficient way to do this by combining it with other activities /bounties/quests?" For me it's now part of what makes Destiny a thinking man's shooter, rather than just COD in space. Pity so few people want to listen. But let's not start a cores thread here, people. Wrong forum.
