3 things I still dont understand:
- no-lifers who protect the system to death
- why Bungie cant acknowledge the issue with the leveling system (using random gear because you cant infuse, no transmog feature, useless year1 gear)
- the cost for cores at spider! (if he would sell them for 2-5 shards each, all would be good)

I barely touch this game anymore and I’m protecting the system lol. It’s not hard to get them. I always have enough for an infusion. People just want to infuse their favorite gun up as soon as they get a weapon in that category. Most cores I’ve ever had is 27, and now I’m at 2 bc I masterwork my weapons. I just get them over time and if I don’t have enough to infuse, I just say oh well I’ll wait. I don’t think that masterwork and enhancement cores should be the same thing, because I’m not able to masterwork that much.

Like you said, it's not hard to get them. I'm sitting on 105 cores right now.

I thought we were supposed to have control over our characters and what little customization we can find? So what if someone infuses a gun they like using when they get something to infuse it with. If that’s the case then maybe we should just have Bungie give us fixed loadouts that we can’t customize and are locked from any form of improvement or customization. The two duties of one item should be split. Period. The fact that they are tied together and being defended by people is kinda dumb. The name change solved no problems with this situation and Bungie’s obstinance against it is going to come back to bite them where it matters, money. They and the fanboys are going to learn what happens when you constantly cast your “non-hardcores” feedback aside. They didn’t too well catering to the 10% in y1 and nearly killed their game, guess they either don’t learn from their mistakes or the don’t really give a shit. Guess we’ll see if they can recover from that respite of sales being down 60% while only catering to the 10%ers. Doubtful. They are on their own now, all the -blam!-s up will be owned by them and their fanboys when this game is DIW.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t use what you want. I’m just saying don’t go crazy and infuse everything as soon as you get a new higher power weapon. Gotta be conservative.

If you don’t then how are you out of cores? I’ve been grinding crucible from 4:00 to 8:45 and I’ve managed 8 cores. From just dismantling crucible garbage. About to masterwork my long walk. I don’t see how anyone could need cores THAT bad. Unless you’re a newer player, now that is understandable.

you are assuming that everybody that dislikes this system is struggling with cores. I,m sitting on a comfortable 119 cores. fully masterworked pve and pvp set and a couple of masterworked weapons. I recognize why bungie is doing this and im not stupid enough to fall for it. a majority of the community wants this. and if it did change how would that effect you

It wouldn’t effect me much. I mean sure I would be able to infusecmore but I am already conservative. I just see the problem as people nitpicking about everything. To ME, I see this as people pestering bungie about everything. Like [b]for the most part [/b] I truely feel like bungie is trying.

you seem like one of the more reasonable pro core guys so i'll tell you why people like me with plenty of cores don't like this system. because they had it... at the end of D1Y3 they had the successful blueprint going forward. what the hell happened. why did they change so much. the foundation was there...it should have been built apon, not abandoned. it just frustrates me to know what they had and what they have now. this bodes ill for D3. we'll have to give up all our stuff again and start all over...gear wise this doesn't bother me. but system wise it does. what 's next. are they going to change what few good systems are left. eventually this will catch up to them but by then it might be to late.

I see what you mean, and I do agree. When forsaken first launched I HATED the core system. But now that they’ve made it easy to get multiple cores, i don’t see much of a problem. Bungie wanted to make your choice matter. They COULD have just made another material instead of shoving masterwork cores which I do NOT agree with, but they decided not to. I’ve changed my mind. I’m not defending the system, but I’m not necessarily against it either. I feel like they could have executed the “make your choice matter” system better, but it’s not so bad to the point where I am upset with it.

I’m conservative as F and I rarely have cores to do anything with. I don’t have luck with good drops. I don’t have a lot of time to give to this game( it has t given me any reason to find more time to give it). I can either farm for gear to play the game or I can farm for fragments to buy bounties to hunt enemies who will drop me cores to then find gear to infuse into the gear that with the rolls that I like. I don’t have enough time to do both. Also doesn’t help that normally, when I can play, I get 70-80% of my powerful/primes dropping class items. This week I had two non-class items drop from what I’ve competed. Its probably my best week in a few months. The loot system. The infusion system. The mod system. Need major attention of this game is going to climb out of the shithole it’s developers put it in. Digging their feet in the dirt and casting aside a large portion of their communities desires is a pretty shitty way of saying, “we’re going it alone and are going to need all the revenue we can to keep this train wreck rolling”. But hey, maybe instead of being a mainstream, sell to everyone kinda game Destiny will become a “niche” type game and it and it’s devs can afford to cater to the 10% because that’s all who will be interested in it if they keep dicking around their player base.

I agree with the loot system, it’s terrible. My primes are always the same thing. Second week of forsaken, on my hunter, I literally did all of my powerful rewards and got gauntlets every time. Got stuck at 528. But I don’t infuse too much, if I need to put on a helmet with rocket reserves for example for riven, sure it brings me down 2 light levels, but it’s not a big deal... in crucible LL doesn’t matter so I’m usually like 490 on my titan because all of my eververse armor has great perks, but it’s not worth infusing.

you really don't need to be a no lifer to get cores What you need to do is dailies and convert planet collectibles to the vendor of that planet for gear to disenchant. You prob get cores and shards

1. Levelling as it is is to easy content is done a couple weeks! 2. Get loads of 650 gear of no purpose other than shards every time you do an activity, especially with the increase in primes seem to get about 1 ah hour 3. Infusion costs are fine already got nearly 100 cores and not played really for a fortnight

Fanboys will always defend poorly thought out designs by Bungie. Why do you think they’re still defending Destiny 2 even though it’s been pretty much crap since it was released -If Bungie acknowledges a dumb mistake then they would have to acknowledge every dumb mistake they’ve made since Sept 2017. Bungie doesn’t admit they’re making bonehead decisions. That’s why 2 is doing poorly to the rest of the world, just not in the eyes of the fanboys. Activision isn’t in the picture. Any mistakes going forward is all on. I guess and their fanboys probably will still look for someone else to blame for them.

How else can one provide feedback on the game? I can’t very well give feedback if I don’t play it. I don’t understand. Fanboys talk crap if you don’t play and diss their precious game. Fanboys talk crap if you do play and still diss the game. I don’t get it. Is the game supposed to get better or stay a dumpster fire? Sales aren’t good. Attendance isn’t good. A major game developer just cut ties after having a “10 year plan”...that doesn’t happen when things are going “good”. I’m sorry you’re upset that I dislike the game as it is. I’m sorry I invested 2200+ hrs into the previous three years of the Destiny universe and was led to believe, by the developers, that their follow up was going to be better. I’m still waiting. I’m a disgruntled fan who has probably paid more than you into just this title alone and I have a right to voice my opinions. If you don’t like it. Tough. Keep scrolling because you ain’t stopping it.
