Practice of 'collecting' bugfixes for weeks and patching them in 1 big patch seems outdated
I'm new to Destiny and I'm used to higher update frequencies from other online games. Blizzard games for example.
Minor bugs shouldn't take weeks to get patched.
For instance the weapons frames bug where I can't do any auto rifle frames this week because I made the mistake of carrying one frame over from last week. This seems minor and easy to fix and it has been known for weeks.

How much experience do you have in patch management and QA testing? Until you have some experience in any of those areas your have no idea what kinds of changes are easy or not.
