Guys, girls, attack helicopters- we're all the same. It feels different because you're not used to it, but once you interact with other people, you get used to it. A lot of etiquette dictates that you should talk differently to girls than guys, that certain words and topics aren't appropriate for mixed-gender conversations. Personally, I think that's stupid, and I often forget I'm "supposed to" act different around other gendered people. It really doesn't make a difference to most females how you talk. Just be yourself. The only thing to keep in mind- if it would generally be considered inappropriate, like insulting a dead dude at his funeral, don't do it lol. Inappropriate behavior and speech will still be inappropriate IMO, regardless of gender. Also, physical contact. Apparently, guys make physical contact often? Like, punching each other while joking around and stuff? Idk lol. Girls often make physical contact, but generally it's more like hugging and stuff. So, don't go around touching girls like you would guys. Some girls will act like guys, joke like guys, etc. That doesn't give you permission to touch them either lol. If they're okay with contact, they'll probably tell you lol. Really though, just be yourself. It'll be awkward at first, but you'll make female friends eventually, and it'll get easier. Don't stare, that's really important. Do make eye contact tho it's important to any conversation imo. Remember that girl's usually don't like being treated like some kind of special being because they look good. Don't get me wrong, being told you're good looking is important, just not to people you barely know. Others have said i t, so it's not really original but seriously, just treat women like you would men. Just show them you, they're people too. I never initiate a relationship with women intending to sex them or thinking it'll turn into something more, instead I choose to do that after I know who they REALLY are. Saves a lot of heartache.
