It will only reset the Crucible Rank Resets you have done this season. Any other quest steps will remain the same. If you want further information look at TWAB “the changes this season”

So even if I've reset 5 times in season 4, it'll get reset back to 0 because im not on that step yet? Nightmare! Thanks for the reply though :)

Yup. It sucks at least the WHOLE quest doesnt reset.
