We cannot aid the person who refuses to engage. There should be no reason we give more ammo to the person camping lanes and not engaging. Even if that is not how you snipe that is what the game will turn into if we gift snipers more ammo than everyone else. Shotgunners have to engage in order to kill. Plus pick up ammo. No one should be rewarded for head glitching and staying as far away from the fight as possible. If your good you will get 2 free kills then you have to go hunt for ammo like everyone else. Also 80 crit side arm sounds crazy. HC do like 70 to the head. That is luna's howl body shot powerful. I don't want snipers to dominate meta it was the worse meta in destiny. Snipers can be a part of the meta but it should reward a skilled hand not make it easy. Sniper should have the highest skill ceiling. Good sniper will beat anything.

Please, there is ZERO skill in "engaging". There are very little sightlines that can be exploited in the entire game that you can camp with a sniper. Shotguns dont engage, they ape. To engage would be to challenge a player at mid range with a primary. Not a sprint and press trigger. There was NEVER a time in which Snipers were the META in Destiny. At zero times per month did snipers have more kills than shotguns in D1. Snipers do however dont need to be easy, but why are shotguns so easy? Why try sniping, if shotgunning will allow the player the same overall efficiency with far less effort?

  • Never a sniper meta in destiny? You must not have played trials much in d1, those who used shotguns would just be picked off by the sniper campers and if you werent decent with a sniper well better luck next run

  • Flawless every weekend, go look at the stats... Snipers NEVER had more kills than Shotguns in Trials or ANY playlist.

  • Lmao shotgunner do the same thing tho. Sitting back around the corners. One or two extra rounds for snipers isnt asking much. Especially since shotty users can run up behind any one and viola easy kill. Snipers have to continuously move around to not get overwhelmed by a whole team.

  • Okay Calico you're an experienced player. And I respect that. But I'm not vouching for players to sit back, camp lanes, and never move. If you see a guy hard scoping in the back, go around, slide around the corner, and flinch him before he can shot you. Make yourself a difficult Target to hit. If you're getting wrecked by a hardscoper in the back, I say this with good intentions, you're probably being predictable with your movement. The extra ammo and reduced flinch would be for players like myself who try to snipe aggressively but are getting punished for it simply because we don't have the ammo to continue even with sniper scavenger. And in regards to the last word. Smugglers word is already capable of three bursting people up close but it's not even possible to hit people from like 15 feet away or further which means your engagements are very limited if you have no sniper ammo. The last word could do that but with range falloff meaning outside of it's intended range it's not gonna kill very effectively but can kill if all or most of your shots connect. And when someone who's careless rushes straight toward you with no regard to being evasive at all and is in it's intended range it would be able to delete them if you had a good shot. And obviously it would be exotic so it would take your exotic slot as well.

  • Oh I forgot to add this. "Hunt for ammo like everyone else?" If you're using a shotgun and getting kills the ammo will be right in front of you for the taking. If you're using a sniper the ammo will most likely be a ways off, and there's no guarantee that your shotgun using teammate won't swoop in and grab it for himself.
