Really bungie?Forsaken weapon and armor infusing is ridiculous now

Really bungie?? Wow. All i can say is wow. Of course you make it harder to do the simplest things. Its one step forward and two steps back. Im all for making the game better and adding new stuff but this wasnt necessary. I really hope you guys pull your heads out of your asses soon

  • Some of you may have no problem with the new infusion requirements if you have no problem grinding for hours on end, but for someone like me who can only play 8-10 hours a week, it has become a ridiculous impediment. I haven't even found a single Mastworked item or core since Forsaken and I have already used the few I had saved up for actually Mastworking a new weapon. I don't mind the new planetary material requirements, that is actually kind of cool. But, the requirements for Masterwork cores is just plain stupid and makes me not even want to play anymore. Just getting the motivation to log in and complete the new story is hard enough now when I used to look forward to my time spent in my previous favorite getaway. Bungie may be making changes to "draw back the hardcore" players, but they are chasing away the older casual players like me who actually have money to spend on silver. I am not spending another dime on this game until something changes.

  • I hate the new infuse system. Not only do you need to farm for the extra items but now you can only infuse weapons in that class slot. So you can't infuse a primary auto rifle with a secondary anymore. Exactly what you said with this update- 1 step forward 2 steps back

    • What in God's Name are you complaining about? All the materials are about is getting you to go do activities in the open world so that that part of the game doesn't turn into an abandoned wasteland. It also is a way of having you be more selective about what you level up...rather than just hanging on to everything.

      • I seriously do not understand why people are complaining about this... Now materials will actually have meaning and you need to decide what to spend your resources on. Gathering materials is really not that hard. I'm just glad that the weapon and armour system is moving back to the ways of D1 and that all the stuff I have been gathering finally has a use. If you want to upgrade your gear, Work for it.

        • People have been asking to make this basically Destiny 1, now infusions are similar to Destiny 1 and now its apparently too much. Doing patrols, public events, lost sectors all grant around 4 planetary resources of each completion, its faster now to farm materials than it was on Destiny 1.
