The fate of Humanity...

So I was watching Byf's lore Video on the Fallen and two things hit me... One, the servitors are ghosts. And two, The great wirwind shook the fallen at their core and during the battle with the hive, their leader is killed after the traveler abandons them. Now I know the traveler fought the darkness for us and saved humanity. And gave the cabal a big slap to the face But does that mean it wont one day abandon us ? The Darkness is the travelers ancient enemy. The Hive are not. If it had been the hive that caused the collapse, Would the traveller have left? Will it still leave at some point? Are Dead Orbit right after all???? EDIT: Just to clarify since I didnt state this well. If You watch the house of wolfes opening you will see a servitor make similar movements to a ghost. Given how they where also made in the travelers immage, I felt like the servitors are a (type of though obbiously different) fallens ghost in a way. Also Some lore digging on Destinypedia has revealed that the traveler was on Fundament when the proto hive crashed there. The Hive then chased the traveler away, That makes it twice (at least) that they have done this.

  • <The Traveler has had enough. Think about it from her perspective. She is THE Gardener. She maintains, of her own accord, the seeds to millions of civilizations, hoping to let them touch the sky above. Boosting them into the greatest version of themselves. Then this thing, the Flower-Eater, the Queen of Final Shapes. It comes in and starts destroying everything. It stalks the fields of the massive garden. Despite hiding in the tall plants and flowers, IT still finds her. She's been on the run for ages. Wouldn't she get tired of it? Whether the Darkness would've died in the Collapse or not, without the Gardener, IT can't destroy everything. The Gardener needed rest. She needed to heal, which is why the Stranger led us to the Garden. If the Traveler woke up at the start of the Red War without healing, the Deep would kill her. She's healing. I don't care how D3 ends up going. I'm sure we'll jump on the Leviathan and get help through the Empire by putting Calus back in place, after all, he wants us to join his Empire. The Fallen have to join, because no matter what, it's the end. This is the last stand. The end of the Eldritch Race. Whether that's the name that belongs to the Traveler and Darkness, the 5th Race, or just the Darkness, this is it. We need to help the Gardener... Let the Garden prosper. The Dark Future is inevitability. When the Almighty cracks, that's all. I'd rather have the future belong to the Vex and not the Darkness, though.>
