Please allow us to replay story missions without needing to luck out on weekly RNG
It sucks having to wait a week to only find out that the one story mission i want to re-play is not available this week. But I have an idea...
So each week you get the 4 heroic story missions which give the tokens n shit, Then there is a list of all story missions (which could reset daily) which you can pick up and play, but these just give the same tier reward as the daily vendor missions.
Whats your thoughts?

I had the problem with rifleman story that he vanished part way through even thought was not dead... It said complete so i just presumed so... However, the triumph says I not killed him and need to... so how can I do this when cant replay that mission? Firstly the bug it doing the weird glitch that cant actually kill him and then have to wait weeks for rng for it to come back to be able to be played and hope glitch still not there... please can we just select to replay stories we have done... we want this choice as players... Anyone know a way to get rifleman to work and die or fix the glitch or replay this mission let me know ... Thanks

i love this place. thread 1: Destiny doesn't have anything worth playing for! thread 2: i want to play story missions! i don't care if they don't offer any rewards. [Bungie adds a story mission to a weapon quest] thread 3: BUNGIE IS LAZY! replaying a story mission is unacceptable! #gosports!

I'd accept that. Or even just let us play up to a certain number of missions of our choosing for the vanguard research rep each week.

Let's not limit to only story missions. Players need to have the ability to pick what activities they want to play and not be pigeon holed in what Bungie wants us to play. Bring back Player Choice!

We should not have to beg to replay missions, not that many I'd want to, but it's something to do (e.g. I'm a sucker for the art and environment and like to wander around and check the nice details). My guess is they don't want players to waste time there instead of grinding for two blues and a token.

Halo gave players the freedom they wanted to play how they wanted when they wanted to. Bungie has all the right elements but doesn't know how to use their content and it's downright embarrassing. This is clearly not the same Bungie we're dealing with here anymore. Most of the good requests don't even get answered. How many people honestly don't want ammo synth? And yet here we are 7 months into this game and they won't even acknowledge the question. They say they are listening but only to a very select few. Otherwise they just ignore you. Notice how the moderator just likes to move s*** around but never answers any questions. I honestly don't even know why they have these forums because they don't communicate with the people on them except on extremely rare occasion. Think they move stuff around 99% of the time just to make it look like they're doing something. Actually I think they ban more people than they answer questions too. Oops, maybe I shouldn't say.......

And allow the story modes to be part of the PvE weeklies Like D1 Heroic Story mode, modifiers, difficulty levelling etc With end game Engrams and loot to acquire Prestige fireteam gear

Given how short both dlcs have been, Ikora could quite easily accommodate three rows of meditations on her menu screen, assuming putting story nodes on the map is too hard for Bungie. On that topic, being able to select strikes would be cool.

I agree wholeheartedly with this. There should be a mission director available to allow us to replay whatever we want whenever we want to. Like just a list of missions, and then difficulties and additional modifiers. Even have like a Nightfall scoring system and rewards for gaining the high scores. Of course being bungie i can't really see them doing anything about it

I agree. Maybe make the missions Ikora offer Heroic missions, maybe with exclusive rewards to that campaign. Doing the Red War would give you the prologue armor(or something more cabal themed), CoO would give you Vex themed armor a la VoG, and Warmind would give you Hive themed gear. They could give more Rasputin themed stuff, but Escalation already has a set like that.
