isn't the dawning in d2 the same as d1?
Forgive me but why wasn't there the same anger over eververse/dawning/microtransactions in d1? i can't see what the difference is. Respectfully, am i missing something?

2 RespuestasIt's more about how Eververse itself is being handled in general, mostly its integration into the weekly routine of players. And the amount of dawning items added into eververse vs. The amount of things you can earn from dawning engrams makes it impossible to earn everything by the time it ends. Also, D1 had actual in game events that supplemented the game and made it fun (SRL for example, and the record book) We have Mayhem in D2. Mayhem was a permanent thing in D1. Also, more things were direct purchase while now you pretty much have to buy engrams until you get what you want.

Srl took their eye off of the gear at my store. I know a few people who complained and predicted these events were going to get worse(not that they were good) in the future. Now here we are. An even simply to cash grab...wait...yeah your right nothing has changed. Players waited soooo long to complain.

To be honest I think eververse was the final straw, it’s probably more to do with the rest of the game, eververse just shines a light on what bungie are about now.
