INCREASE THE DIFFICULTY

Destiny seems to appeal a little too much to the casual players. This in turn prevents those very same players from investing themselves in the game and becoming anything more than a casual player. It also allows hardcore players to make this more of a leisurely and casual event to the point of considering the games to be just 1 optionin their daily routine. It becomes typically very easy to grind and get rewards, running through levels and skipping past mini bosses. Its the introduction of the challenge that pushes each player to want to invest in gear and other friends/players to get through those hard times. I like destiny 2. However I dont have fun playing PvE because it simply has no substance past a certain point and no merit in its rewards. Its fun having to push yourself to try. Seperate the casuals from the hardcore by rewarding them through the difficulties they play on. Hardcore players should definitely have a better chance of getting better gear through challenging themselves at a higher level. It doesnt mean each player cant get alot of gear, it just mean things like getting legendaries are much more likely on harder missions and such. The difficulty of each quest and mission could be something you opt from the pause menu. It would also be nice to see a solid touch up on higher level enemies, to make it much more difficult to get passed them since they obviously guard key points. Perhaps increasing their overall movements and awareness? If thats the case -in a way it makes it harder to deal with smaller grunts so the game gets harder without touching every enemy ai system. My real concern is pushing players enough so that they feel they need to invest. Once that happens you can better build a player base.
