Why is No one Talking about this?

According to the latest TWAB, D2 will have two different pvp matchmaking options. 1.) Quickplay. One will focus on getting you into a match with a good connection quickly, but has less emphasis on skill. You may be matched with people who are outside your skill level and comfort zone, but you will get into matches quicker. It's a trade-off basically. 2.) Competitive. The second option will place a greater emphasis on skill and find matches with good connections and people who are closer in skill to you for a more "fair" fight basically. Matchmaking will take longer for you to find a team, but the gameplay experience will be better. These changes basically allow "sbmm" (I use that term loosely) for people who want it, and "less sbmm" for those who don't want it. This sounds like a great change and a way to make everyone happy. I havnt seen any posts about this which is very surprising considering how big of a deal sbmm vs cbmm was over the last few years. All the "get rid of sbmm" and "Bungie lied to us about sbmm" stuff that dominated these forums. You would think this would be a trending topic, but it's not. Just a few months ago "sbmm" was blamed for almost every issue. Lag, ghost bullets, peoples k/d and w/L ratio, amazon packages coming late, the patriots winning the super bowl, etc. Lol Instead, now people are whining about abilities being a bit more rare, but more powerful. Interesting what people lose their minds over and choose to focus on. Does anybody care about these changes? Or am I the only one who gives a damn about this topic that dominated these forums for years?! Here's what Bungie said for those who didn't read TWAB:
Quickplay Matchmaking times will be shorter, with less emphasis on Skill. This is the fastest route to a game, but you may face opponents outside of your comfort zone. The winning score in Control has been extended from 75 to 100 to allow for more time to play and use your abilities. Because too many matches were shorter than we expected (some Guardians weren’t even able charge their Super) we’ve extended the trigger for the Mercy rule so it will come into play less often. Competitive Matchmaking takes more time to introduce you to players that are closer to you in skill with a good connection. These matchmaking settings may take longer, but we feel that the quality of the gameplay experience will be worth the wait. We have also made improvements to the way we calculate your skill in Countdown to better reflect how you’ll perform against your opponents. We always use an element of your skill rating when we match you with opponents or teammates, whether in a pre-made Fireteam or going in solo. In all cases, the average rating of the team is taken into account when looking for matches. As always, we’ll be eager to hear from you all about how this feels.
