I think I know why BUNGIE got rid of machine guns

I believe it was for PVP purposes and the fact that sometimes even after several minutes has passed since the heavy drop, some people are still running around with machine gun ammo effectively using it as a primary. The counter to this argument is that in the D2 beta, the fusion rifle gets six shots after picking up power ammo effectively making it the new "machine gun" of D2 so to speak. Thoughts? • This is the kind of stuff that make "mainly pve players" rage about many of the major changes in Destiny. Most of the "balancing" serves little to no positive purpose in pve. The result has often been that even minions has felt like bullet spounges, with weapons that earlier was quite effective on them. That has led to the common argument that pvp "destoys" pve. Not always entirely true ofc, but it's a valid point and it's the major cause of seperating the pvp and pve players and making them turn against each other. Result is a bunch of posts that does nothing but curse Bungie for changes they make, until they seem to choose to fix the issue that gets the most attention, just to cool down the masses. Constructive comments with good ideas that could actually help to solve issues long-term, is far between and is completely drowned by the posts screaming for attention. There's a lot of problems in Destiny and I hope they've made systems in D2 that makes it easier to balance weapons and abilites in pvp, seperate from pve. I sure hope the MG's will come back in the final release. I, for one, has used them more than any other heavies. I preffer the high impact, slow firerate ones, as I use them for single fire. As I recall, my MG kills is more than 50% presicion kills since I use them this way I really can't see the problem with someone being able to preserve ammo and keep MG ammo for an extended time. They still need to stay alive the whole time. It sure takes a better PVP player than me to keep from dying with MG in my hand ;)
