I think I know why BUNGIE got rid of machine guns

I believe it was for PVP purposes and the fact that sometimes even after several minutes has passed since the heavy drop, some people are still running around with machine gun ammo effectively using it as a primary. The counter to this argument is that in the D2 beta, the fusion rifle gets six shots after picking up power ammo effectively making it the new "machine gun" of D2 so to speak. Thoughts? Nerfed an entire weapon class out the game for PvP balance. If they really left them out of the game for this, that's like 5+ changes that take away from PvE to help PvP in Destiny 2 (and the only ones we know for now) Really -blam!-ing sick of it honestly. Won't be continuing with the game if this trend continues, and it is't looking good so far.
