Was just in an IB match, our team was kicking ass. about 3/4 of the way through the match, the screen cuts to black with no warning and I get the "bird" error. Normally, I wouldn't think twice about something like this, but the fact that it happened with no warning whatsoever raised a few red flags. There was little, if any, lag in the game, and not once did "Contacting Destiny Servers" appear at the bottom of my screen. It's just as if someone hit a lightswitch and I was staring at the error code screen. My connection's been lacking these past few months (blame TalkTalk, they suck ass), but not once have I ever been sent to orbit so goddamn quickly. I've never been the victim of a DDoS before, so I don't know what it looks like, but if I had to guess I'd say this was the cause. [b]EDIT:[/b] The reason I mentioned DDoS is because I experienced it from the other end a few matches prior (one of my randomer allies did it to the other team, there were 5 other people on my team at the time so I have no way of knowing who it was, else I'd have reported them).
