Local Network issues. :(

All I am asking for is an update on this issue! That's all Bungie! My boyfriend and I started playing destiny since day one, and never had an issue like this. I understand that your tech guys are trying to find a solution, but this has gone waaaay too long. This issue made me miss the new RoI raid since I have noone else to do it with without having to look for a group online. I wanted to do the raid with my boyfriend and our friends, but now it has to be one of us. I still haven't done the raid btw. I just want an update! Is it close to being resolved? Is it not? I don't care. I just want to know. As of right now, I have been playing RoI- Iron Banner by myself and it is super boring. I end up quitting Destiny and playing something else instead. Any response from a Bungie rep is VERY much appreciated. *Update: their "update" wasn't helpful either...they say to disable NAT Acceleration from router... My internet company doesn't even have that option... Uuuuugh.

May not actually be listed as "NAT Acceleration". That can actually represent multiple features that can be toggled depending on just how the router is configured elsewhere in the menus. We've discussed this in previous threads about the local LAN problem...but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. Nice to see at least Bungie may have been paying attention. The more likely feature they are after is Cut-Through Forwarding (CTF). This can cause issues with port forwarding and such. Disabling it will increase the load on the router's CPU and RAM though, so make sure it has good ventilation if it already runs pretty warm normally. The actual option that controls it can go by various names. For example, on this demo router firmware it is labeled as a hardware acceleration feature: http://event.asus.com/2012/nw/dummy_ui/en/Advanced_SwitchCtrl_Content.html If you could post the make and model number we might be able to track down some info on it.
