Poll Question: What type Pokemon do you see most often on Pokemon Go?
I need #Gaming's help with some information. I think a lot of us are wondering why we are only finding certain types, so I decided I come here to gather data about the connection between certain environments and the Pokemon they find.
Personally, I only really see Normal, Bug, and Flying types. Rattata, Pidgey, Weedle, and Eevee are the Pokemon I see most often.
What type of Pokemon do you find?
What Pokemon do you see most often?
Where do you live?
Describe the environment.
Edit: Thanks for the feedback. Seeing some proof environment leads to different Pokemon.

Editado por Krash Nebula: 7/9/2016 10:08:09 PMJust went on a drive around town with some friends lookin for pokestops and pokemon. My phone battery did not enjoy it lol

Mainly flying and poison.

I've seen/encountered everything other than Rock/Ground and Fire nearby. Got really lucky that my preferred bar is between 3 stops and someone kept putting lures on all 3 stops too. Caught like 50 pokemon just while sitting there and drinking beer.

Editado por ThePoshFatKid: 7/9/2016 9:41:15 PMI walked 12 miles today. Not all of it on Go...battery wouldn't allow it, but I was out all day with the intention of checking every so often. I also played two hours of tennis. All I can say is that PoGo is getting me far more active. I love it! Mainly normal and bug types.

I live on a mountain with a few other houses near me. I only find normal and bug type so far but I just started. Only lvl 3.5

Editado por Trestero: 7/9/2016 8:15:11 AMIf I wasn't dumb and had thought to download the app while I was on vacation in Colorado a couple days ago, I'd probably have some decent proof as far as environment affecting what you find since it's somewhat different from where I am normally. That said, I happen to be stupid, so oh well. Better get started, all I've got is my squirtle so far.

I am around a few poison and ghost types

I can't even get mine to load to the main menu. Help!

I live by the sea, there are loads of crab pokemon here and some other water pokemon I have yet to track down
-
I've caught a Squirtle (starter), a Weedle, a Poliwag, a Magikarp (it takes 500 candies to evolve), a Pidgey, a Rattata, a Paras, and a Drowzee. I live near river, so I imagine when I leave the house I'll catch a few more water types. Unfortunately the local gym was taken over by a Jolteon lol.

On vacation around tons of water pokemon. Just caught myself a dragonair.
-
I've heard searching at night yields different pokemon. Can't test the theory because FRACKING PTC WON'T LET ME LOGIN.

Editado por Auttumnnnn: 7/8/2016 3:21:59 AMBeing in southern Alabama, it's basically just forests. But I happen to live near a small lake. I haven't been down to the lake yet though. I've been finding mostly Pidgey, and a lot of Eevee have been nearby, but I haven't caught any. I also saw a Bulbasaur nearby for just a moment, but it alluded me.
