What did I do wrong here
Ok, so. I was speaking with my ex and she was talking about how she wanted to get back together. Seeing as in the past 2 years we'd gone out several times and each time ended worse than the last, I declined saying that I didn't find the relationship enjoyable. She asked what specifically I didn't like. We didn't have too much in common as far as recreational activities go, so I said "I didn't have as much fun as I'd like to have", seeing as we'd more often than not do what she wanted to do over what I wanted to do. She then sent me a wall of text telling me how what I said was emotional manipulation. Oh, and then she blocked me on everything.
So, am I just not understanding something or what?

I've got some crazy girl that loves me and acts like we were a couple even though we aren't. I've coped similar experiences like you have. If it's the type I know, she'll unblock you and come running again. They always do. I am piece of a shit, and haven't been with many girls.. so this crazy girl I'll visit, stick it in her and see what happens. I'm not totally sure yet.. I'm torn.. so torn.

Here's the simple answer. You didn't do anything wrong. You were honest and direct and answered her questions. People don't like and have different reactions to rejection. Some people are not used to rejection and take it very personally and react dramatically. Looks like your ex is one of those folks. Other's shrug, accept that not every offer is going to be accepted, and move on. Those folks understand that while a rejection is personal in regards to the fact that you are personally being told "no, no thank you, or even hell no, get the -blam!- away from me" that everyone has the right to say no to someone who is asking for their attention.

ummm she sounds like shes upset because you didn't want to get back with her. i think its time to move on, she is trying to guilt trip you into giving her what she wants. before we got together, my boyfriend had been guilt tripped by his ex-fling into doing what she wanted him to do and this almost sounds similar to what happened with him and her.

2 RespuestasWell being a dude is always where you go wrong. At least in my experience. You didn't do anything wrong imo, you were honest and that's all people should ask for. I had a similar situation just recently. Not the whole two year thing, but a girl I met over spring break and had a fling with up until a few weeks ago, well she was ready to pick out the wedding cake on the first date. Nope'd my way out of that. So man just be happy you avoided another potential train wreck and move on about your day. Much like myself, youre probably too young to worry about getting super serious. So just go plow a couple other hundred fish in the sea and call it a day.
