Anyone else think updates predominately for PVP should be separate from PVE so that the cry babies in PVP don't nerf our fun in PVE?
E.g. Special & Heavy Ammo? Mida's High Calibre rounds? Revives? Sniper Nerfs? Etc...

Would anybody honestly be that devastated if Destiny 2 was just PvE and didn't even have a PvP? I feel like the game would be better. Not better in the sense that more people would be able to work on PvE since they are separate teams, but better in that updates would be PvE focused.
-
Yes, they should be separated.
-
Remember when bungie buffed shotguns by 100% in pve and the buff didn't affect pvp? Why can't they do that now?
-
Yeah stop it Jon weinoski your ruining the game!
-
Yeah -blam!- this pve sniper ammo nerf my spindle barely carries 18 rounds now with TWO sniper ammo perks equipped...

Speaking of revives, does anyone know if it's possible to be res sniped by a line/wire rifle with the matching burn?

Big booty banging bump on this one

I know this isn't popular, but no. The weapons need to feel the same in both modes, it's what Destiny is built on. (Damage scalar and mag size is a different deal.)
-
Create the modifier 'crucible restraints' have it apply to anyone playing the crucial, it nerfs the weapons and abilities to not make them too op but leaves the pve players open to use the weapons with a nerf because pvp players complain. This kinda thing would let sunbreakers get their abilities back in pve but not be broken in pvp

Who cares... Raid and PoE are still super easy If they do separate pvp and pve stats, imo they should nerf all pve weapons into oblivion. You should get a stick and 3 rocks (unable to pick up or restock rocks obviously). Then pve would actually be a challenge. I like the fact ammo is more scarce and you need to make your shots count. Running out of primary and secondary ammo makes gameplay more interesting.

Totally agreed

Preach on.

This should have been done from the start.

This I can get behind. I grind to get higher light and better gear that will make doing things like the raid easier. Once I finally get a full KF set at 320 light then I can help out my clanmates do the same. Rinse and repeat. I don't mind all of these changes directed towards PvP because that's honestly what is needed to change the games around, but seriously? The Bungie devs want to nerf ammo in PvE too? Why? It wasn't a problem before. I do not ever recall "Too much dakka" ever becoming a used phrase. If we can't unload gratuitous amounts of raining death upon our enemies in PvE then what's the point of even using the guns? Some of you might not have any problems with the ammo changes, but from what I've been seeing there are quite a few people who are not taking it so well. I like knowing that there is a little bit of elbow room for mistakes in raids. That isn't to say that teammates shouldn't be cautious and paying attention, but if it becomes more challenging and frustrating than fun then it becomes a flop in my book. There has always been a rather thin divide between PvE and PvP, but as that gap is becoming more and more closed up I'm noticing that it is just getting filled in by the PvP side while the PvE side is suffering from it. No hate to any PvPers. I'm just kinda disappointed at the folks in Bungie for doing a rather lack luster job that I know wouldn't be difficult for them any other time.

I'm sick of running out of hand cannon ammo in the middle of every firefight. I hate Bungle.
