We already kind of "craft" some exotics by completing quests. I don't think anyone really wants a crafting system though. The grind would get even more intense. This is not Warframe (thank god) where you have to craft items to craft items and items can take 24-72 hours to make. No thankyou.

That's why I suggested it in a way that didn't matter if you did it or just there for fun.
