I propose a new faction. -=<[ Forces of Towers Fate ]>=- "Weaving the threads of Destiny, the Guardians here mend the most gruesome of tears." - Spirit Searcher, Faction Rep ( pure light ghost ) *Role 1* - This new faction would serve as a link between guardians wanting to push the limits of their light. 1. This new faction would have ranks as usual, but with a twist. When you complete endgame content, it awards you a badge and an entire rank. It would start with VOG on easy which would reward a silver tier (VOG) badge and rank 1, followed by hard gold tier (VOG) and rank 2. The same treatment would be done to CE and KF for ranks 3+4 and 5+6, then for any newly released raids or endgame. These badges would appear in the player inspection screen, allowing other players to see your accomplishments. Hovering over one would give you a pop up of highlight stats of the players best run for the badge (fastest run, deaths ect...). Pressing Triangle (Details) would give more specific stats in a list. *Role 2* - Spirit Searcher, the factions representative would serve as a beacon for this link. The most important function of this faction however is their scribe, The Spirit Searcher. It is a ghost of pure light that never speaks but hums a soft, ancient song, '[i]Song of The Spheres'[/i]. This ghost has the ability to link guardians together in order to focus the forces of the traveler. It has a "Fire Team Finder". This would operate similar to the in game (or app) tool provided in the link at beginning of this thread. It would have appropriate filters and adjusting to work within Destinys robust world. You could easily find, recruit and launch group activities from this pocket of space. The location of this faction could be somewhere exotic, separate from the reef or the tower. It may refer to a different yet parallel tower isolated in another timeline or dimension. Where would your Forces of Towers Fate reside? TL:DR Factions can be used for more than just vendors/exchanges. They can open up whole new dimensions like raid finders, interesting social webs and World Ranking/Badges.
