*WARNING - SUPER LONG READ*
TL;DR - Tell me what your favorite pulse rifle is and why.
When it comes to most primary weapon classes, we know which weapons stand above the rest. For example, we know that the Doctrine of Passing trumps all other auto rifles atm, that the MIDA is by far the best scout rifle, and TLW is undoubtedly the best handcannon (excluding Thorn because it's a y1 weapon). But with pulse rifles, it is much more hazy. Some people swear on the bible that Red Death is the best pulse rifle by far, while others say that it's Bad JuJu, and others furthermore will go on and on about Nirwin's Mercy, and, of course, there's the secret GoM cult. It seems like everyone has a different pulse rifle that he/she loves, so I though I'd dedicate this post to deciding which pulse rifles outclass the others, while also offering a general discussion about them, talking about the 4 archetypes and the best rolls that go with each. So here we go:

Are you sure the RoF: 77, Impact: 4 has the highest time to kill for headshots? According to exxtrooper's spreadsheed the RoF: 73, Impact: 7 has a time to kill of 0.92 while RoF: 77, Impact: 4 sits at 0.93. This is not enough to matter, and under perfect circumstances it would result in a trade between the two i guess. My guess is this is because the faster arcetrype needs all 9 shots in three bursts to kill, while the other gets away with 8. I would've thought that the difference in rate of fire would be enough to make up for this but it seems not. For bodyshots the RoF: 73, Impact: 7 beats out the other by a larged margin. 1.42 to 1.60 Not sure what exxtrooper's sources are though. I personally prefer the two middle archetypes, though i really really like the fastest one aswell. I just wish we had one that looked better than the grasp..

False. Your "best perks" for grasp of malok are trash. Headseeker. Braced frame. Glass half full. Boom. There's your God roll.
-
My grasp has headseeker, glass half full and braced frame.. according to best perks, that's only 1 good perk... i beg to differ

Editado por EasyPzLemnSqzy: 3/15/2016 2:32:55 PMGot the blue Occulate pulse the other day with a great perk set, the thing is a terror at range. Had range finder and hand laid stock. In my warlock.

If the higher impact ones could two burst, I might use them still.

My 123 syzygy head seeker/fitted stock/counter balance Was melting people when no one was using pulse rifle, now it's one of the best weapon in the game, wish I could infuse it with a year 2 weapon, high rate of fire/low impact pulse are really strong in the crucible right now
