Hey Xystra! Sorry to hear about your issues. I believe the original demo that was available for the Xbox 360 is no longer available. Please see this article; https://www.bungie.net/en/help/article/12406 which states, "Note: Players on PlayStation3 and Xbox 360 will lose access to the Destiny Demo starting 9/3/15. A new version of the Demo will be available for download at a later date." I am unsure if a new demo was added to the marketplace, but can you check the Microsoft Store for a new copy of the demo?

  • I had used the old demo until it stopped working. I now have the NEW demo (it was updated for DLC content, I assume), and that is the one that I can use with the dummy account but not my primary account. In short, my copy of the demo is up-to-date.

  • So you are playing on the new demo with an account that has already "demo-ed" the original Trial Version? I believe the new Trial may be reading your license as though you have already played Destiny, which may be causing your issues.

  • I am playing on the new demo with an account that has "demo-ed" the original demo (not Trial), yes. (If the new demo reads that as having played the full game, I would consider that a serious bug that needs fixing.) Aside from purchasing the full game which I can't afford right now, is there any way to fix this, or am I locked out because I was an early demo-er?
