The sense of entitlement has been around since forever. Threads like this try to be like wise old men passing on tokens of wisdom to a younger generation, simple truth is that you are no different. I've seen entitled kids everywhere since the 80s, ppl try & say *back in my day the kids used to respect their elders etc* but this is so much bullshit, society is no more pathetic than it was 30 yrs ago. It just seems like its worse because theres more of us. Words of wisdom dont exist anymore & ultimately will just result in you/me wasting our time. Your thread has served no useful purpose whatsoever. Enjoy your life because you cant do -blam!- all to change anyone elses, accept it & move on.

Yeah this generation is worse and I was born in it. I have seen countless videos and documentaries about things 30 years (some before) ago and trust me, when somebody in this generation say it is utter shit, it is utter shit.

Documentaries dont mean anything, ive seen those documentaries & none of them say the truth, they just colour it to suit the points they are making. I lived it & anyone that lived it will tell you the same as me, there was just as much bullshit 30 yrs ago as there is today except the govt didnt hand out benefits etc, there werent organisations to help young ppl like there is today etc, trust me, if you think todays life is rough then be glad you werent born 30 yrs ago, life may be shit & it always will be until YOU change it. Dont wait for words of wisdom or a helping hand, want a new life? then go get it. Its that simple, just dont whine about how tough life is when its been tough for most ppl over generations. You arent a special circumstance, you're just another statistic, like the rest of us.

Not at all, just a point of view. Im simply saying not to blame society for where you are in life, if you let others make your decisions then you deserve to be where you are. If you make your own decisions then you also deserve to be where you are, the difference is that in the 2nd circumstance you have yourself to blame whereas blaming other ppl is a copout that losers need to use. Lifes hard, its that simple. People should simply do what makes them happy & hopefully it'll work out. Its ok for ppl to take advice as long as the final decision is the choice they want to make, never make a choice based on someone elses opinion.

If outside influences determine what route your life takes then you're just a cog in a machine with no real benefits to anyone, especially yourself. Dont like your life? Then change it, no one says that you have to follow a certain path (although far too many ppl walk through life like robots without any control whatsoever), its up to you to make the changes in your life, you arent happy? so -blam!-ing what, lifes a gamble. There is no easy solution, the only thing you can do is take life by the horns, stare it in the eye & say " Im gonna do it my way, so -blam!- you", you may still not get what you want but its a lot better than spending your life blaming someone else, i dont know about you but id rather have control than be a puppet.
