Nice idea but better suited for a raid, at least in this point in destiny. Right now the final boss for strikes don't involve complicated mechanics like the ones you mentioned, since strikes are usually ran with randoms you can't communicate with. That's why strikes now are usually just doing DPS to the boss while also using common sense to kill ads in the room as you need to and taking cover. Maybe this will change and we will eventually have mechanics like this for strikes but not now. I do like the idea of a fully taken strike though :)

I understand where you're coming from but the strategy here is basically get the sword, hit the portal and everyone goes through, and after that it's just a normal fight. It's essentially a similar mechanic to the Echo Chamber but just a little more flashy.

Ok that sounds more like it could work. Overall great idea. You should apply to bungie, with those ideas and drawing skills you have a chance of becoming a designer

You need more than a few good ideas and decent art to get a job in the games industry. If they hired designers off of forums, I'd have my own company by now. But I appreciate the compliment. If you're interested I have some other ideas for Strikes that are actual Raid difficulty as well as a few other ideas.
