The best looking gear in the game for any class can all be found in common, uncommon and rare drops. Most of them right in the first few hours of the game. I just created a new Titan and she looks 100x better than my 300 light characters as well as half the guardians wearing raid gear and exotics. It's not only gear though, even the damn weapons! I found a green Handcannon that I swear if I posted a photoshopped stats page of it you'd all be asking how I unlocked this beastly looking exotic. 90% of the End game gear and legendary items sold look butt ugly, 100% of all the Hunter TTK gear looks like shit dumpster divers wouldn't even pick up. But we have to wear this flea market crap because duh high Light Level and PvP loadouts are needed to enjoy the game. Solution? Create an appearance lock that separates your guardians appearance from the actual gear you have equipped. Simple. Brain dead easy, I could code this into the game in 30 minutes if you paid me the right $ amount. Get to it. Also, just a suggestion. Just about every single fan art concept of gear and weapons looks more creative and badass than the stuff you guys are coming up with. Let the community submit their designs in to be featured in game. Saves you work and makes us happy. Win, win.
