The only reason I used it was due to the fact I lacked proper snipers for the Warpriest, golgoroth, the daughter's of Oryx, and Oryx himself. Though now I got one of each elemental sniper, and my treasured PvE sniper has Life Support, Firefly and Perfect Balance with good scopes. Way better than the shadow of the Black Hammer.

I also think people forget that they're gonna nerf Black Spindle into the ground and by the time everyone's done the raid a few more times you can have a 310 of whatever sniper you like making Black Spindle useless. Bungie made all the new exotic weapons and armor to be good under certain situations, not OP in every situation like their predecessors. They don't want people relying on only one gun like we use to do which personally I like because I prefer variety in my game. I mean don't get me wrong White Nail is a nice perk but even if you can carry 23 total sniper shots and are landing the crits you're still gonna burn through that ammo quickly. It's the people who rely solely on these guns that cause everything good to get nerfed because then all Bungie hears is complaints about guns being to OP resulting in a big nerf.

Hmm point taken, though if Bungie wanted more variety, they shouldn't keep doing the trend of nerfing everything until they're all just marshmallow guns. Now I can agree with certain nerfs like Last Word and Thorn nerfs(to PvP), but otherwise Bungie just keeps limiting what usefulness there is with certain gun types. Like what REALLY peeved me off is that Bungie put a steep damage dropoff in snipers without saying a word about it. Before you could snipe from across the map with any type of sniper, now you have to be at medium range for no damage dropoff! I could fire an old M1 Garand and get better range than current snipers of Destiny!

I agree that did irritate me as well. I don't know if they did it so that crit shots would be more important with a sniper or if they had some other motive. Bungie has a habit of making things to powerful and instead of living with their mistake they make the player who worked to get the gun suffer for it.
