"Year one Guardians, we have heard your reasonable requests and have decided to make good on all the wrongs we have done you. The Taken King will be free for all year one players. As an added bonus, year one players will receive every exotic in the game and now can equip one of every slot at the same time! Each weapon is now a one shot kill FOR EVERYTHING (eat shit and die in crucible year two assholes!) and year one players are now invincible! Year one players also have unlimited ammo and never have to reload their weapon. All abilities of year one players are infinite instacasts and last as long as you want. Go forth and conquer like the bosses you are year one Guardians, you deserve it!"

sounds good, but just so you know year 1 players arent asking for God mode, were asking that our guns and armor dont become trash especially because we spent the year getting them. we want some incentive for playing the game now opposed to waiting til the 10s are done and destiny becomes a full game. heres how it stands right now, people who play the game now get shit on, players who come in on year 10 get destiny cheap fast they get the entire game when they buy it and they are as strong as players who have played for 10 years. so why play it now? we spend year after year getting our weapons and armor and it gets taken away from us then new players come in without the hard work and have a better experience.
