its hard to explain, but, looks like all the guardians have pixelated strings attached to them. it gets all distorted, and pixelated black holes show up, then i get kicked from where ever I'm at or the game freezes entirely. it only started after i bought the taken king from the Playstation store which is why i think it might be the playstation. I called Playstation today and they told me to contact Bungie to see if there is something going on with either they're servers or some sort of bug with in the game code. Playstation gave me a bunch of shit to try, but they suggested that I contact bungie first.

There is nothing going on with the servers or in game that could cause problems like that. That sounds like a corrupt or corrupting video RAM cache or card itself in your machine. When was the last time you HARD reset/rebooted your console (not just turned it off)? That may resolve it for you. Also what are your internet connection speeds looking like?

I turned it off today, and unplugged it while i was at work, because i saw that suggestion earlier. It does seem to be fine for now, but i want to prevent this from happening again, or fix the problem now. I have xfinity so my connection speeds are not an issue.

Don't be so fast not to blame some of your issues on Comcast. Comcast has known server issues with the game and they are not planning on fixing it. But that is a totally different story. It sounds like you had a corrupt memory cache if you rebooted and left it unplugged for some time and it resolved it. Understand that both Sony & Microsoft thought they were cool when they enabled these suspend features and wake to play features on their new consoles. The problem this has caused is memory cache leak which is when the onboard memory fills up and is not cleared by TSR (terminate stay resident) programs. This used to be a HUGE problem in Win 3.11 and Win95 which is ironic that this problem has come back now in modern consoles. The best thing you can do is at least twice a week, COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN YOUR SYSTEM. Do not put it in REST mode or STANDBY mode but SHUT IT DOWN that if you unplugged it, nothing would be affected. This has kept me from getting issues along the way.
