This is my only continuing issue with Destiny atm.
Why on earth would Bungie want players to be unable to access the content easily? Why would Bungie want to have a scenario where players will walk away? Why would Bungie want to encourage an environment where pay for completion could be encouraged?
This philosophy of endgame being a challenge to access is ill conceived. Destiny's only content is endgame.
Bungie seriously needs to get back on this topic. If it isn't optional matchmaking then an in-game lfg system.

Yes to all of your points. Well put too. It does seem totally ridiculous that the main point of this game (raiding and Skolas) require you to use an out of game website to find a group. This is exactly the reason why I have yet to do a raid or skolas.
-
And you've stuck around? Out of curiosity, what keeps you playing?
-
If your local NHS refused you an operation leaving you unable to work for 16 months (so far) and you had been stuck at home barely able to leave the house you would also find any way possible to pass the time.

Gotcha. Just curious why you'd stick around if you're not accessing the content. Nothing accusatory

best way to make the game have optional matchmaking is a button in the UI to turn it on/off
-
There's a few things that would need to be added UI wise. But nothing that would be too much.

Bump, bump I say!

This is a great point... The raids are the reasons for this entire game. They should be easily accessed.

Excellently said.
