It doesn't always show the popup on the screen. Did you double check your inventory to be sure you didn't get more shards/energy? Check the postmaster as well if any of your weapon and armor slots are full.

Dude i've played this game long enough to know whether I actually got something or not. I always have enough room in my inventory to get something and if for some reason I don't then yes I check the postmaster. Also it says at the bottom of the screen whether you got something or not whether it be shards, armor, or a weapon. I didn't get a thing when I went through those check points. I didn't get anything when I beat Crota as well. Part of me doesn't even want to do it anymore, this goes for all raids. Whats the point if there's a huge chance that I might not get anything at all.

I suggested what I did because most of the time that is the answer. Certainly not meaning to offend your intelligence. What you're describing sounds quite rare. Can't say I've ever known anyone or seen anyone that has happened to.

I would love for bungie to help me out with this situation but no matter how many times I reach out to them they never reach back to me.
