Switching weapons is way easier with your phone, although it's not like a one button push, you have to move it to the vault with the character it's on, and then switch to the character you want it on and "take" it from the vault. Doing this same process in game takes forever, and can be more excruciating if you forget a weapon and have to go back to a different character. Personally I think Bungie made the mobile app the way it is so people would stop trying to have 1 of each of something on each character...it's pointless now with the app being able to switch that easily.

  • It's their choice to have 1 of everything or not. I regard each character as a "different" character, and don't generally use the same guns for one as for the others. (Example- the Warlock has Thorn and Bad Juju, the "evil" weapons. Hunter is a scout and pulse rifle specialist. Titan has mostly auto rifles. That sort of thing.)

Hey your choice man. Just trying to say 1 it's not just a one button push and 2 nobody really needs 3 icebreakers or gjallahorns anymore (one for each character) since you can just have one floating between characters without having to make annoying trips to the tower/vault everytime, thus possibly freeing up vault space and or character weapon space...but hey if you want to do that, you can. I'm just "efficient".

  • Out of curiosity- you never played Dungeons & Dragons, did you? Having just 1 weapon of each type floating between all my characters would seem like cheating to me, because each character is a different "person" (fictional creation, obviously). It would be like having D&D characters who "borrow" each other's magic swords or whatnot for this week's adventure. OK, I control them because they're my fictional characters, but in real life, you wouldn't loan your prized weapons to somebody who is going out to possibly die, right? And you wouldn't borrow someone else's weapons in that situation, you would want your own personal weapon that you're most familiar with. I'm sure this seems silly to you, but it's how I regard my characters. They each came by their weapons in unique ways, and if they got them initially from a different character, there's a story behind that, too. Sometimes "efficiency" takes a backseat to fun.
