I agree with you. You should't have to spend hours/days playing VoG after the DLC release just to play the DLC content. But that doesn't mean that the people who did spend a lot of time playing VoG should have all their gear become obsolete. Look at potion 1 in my original post. This would have satisfied both parties.

I think everyone that has full raid kit should of had the option of an extra defence slot that would bring them up to 31. Just add shards. Still Bungivision will see how unhappy people are, so they'll come up with an even more rediculous fix that works for nobody

Exactly! There are so many ways they could have done this without screwing people over. As it stands, they basically punished people for investing time and effort in their game. The more time/effort you invested, the harder they screwed you, and that simply doesn't sit well with me.
