I don't usually comment on complaints about a game like this when people don't like the grinding, but I would have to 100% agree on this one. I could see maybe taking an exotic back beyond the last tier, but a complete reset is kind of stupid and redundant. Since I have a lot of exotics already maxed out and spent time doing this, I feel like this time was completely wasted. I would hope that they also apply the drop rate fix to their previous raid so more people can get to level 30 and enjoy the raid. Not everyone was able to grind 3 characters for boots and gloves in Iron Banner. Personally, I don't plan on updating an existing exotic unless I absolutely need to and will not bother upgrading them unless I use them.
