Exotic Gear in The Dark Below will have higher Attack and Defense values than current Exotic Gear. For players and their current caches of Exotics, a path will exist to bring them forward into The Dark Below. Starting December 9th, Xûr will offer players the opportunity to upgrade Exotics to the higher Attack and Defense values Upgrading an Exotic in this way will require an Exotic Shard [b]The upgrade will reset the progression invested into the item[/b] Each week, Xûr will possess a selection of upgrades for existing Exotics in his inventory Seriously? Does Bungie know how much time it takes for an Exotic Weapon to XP up all the way? Do they realize some of the Exotics are painfully poor until they get the upgrades that make them worth having upgraded? I feel some of these changes will make me care less and less about the grind to upgrade weapons and armor... Also, why isn't there any upgrade path for Legendary weapons? I feel lot of these options coming up are Bungie realizing they don't have much content, or reason for players to keep playing, so they want to add more and more and more grind before players can have viable weapons/gear for their unnecessarily hard Raid... and the challenge is appealing, but nothing you get is worth it in the long run because they will just downgrade the weapons when the next expac comes out and then they will have odacity to have you reset the weapon/gear again to get it up to par again. Not happy about this "Reset". I'd rather not play than re-grind a weapon to full use potential.
