You're an idiot of you don't skip.
It's better to finish a run as fast as possible for the guaranteed drops at the end than to stop and fight those few dudes who in all likelihood will give you nothing.
Rng still gonna rng, but at least you're playing the rng game from a guaranteed reward, not hoping a mob drops something, then of that something hoping it's good.

Some people enjoy actually killing things, not hitting checkpoints in record time. Either way, it doesn't bother me. If someone wants to sprint ahead, I'll let them. If I feel like sprinting ahead, I'll do it. There's no real teamwork in this game outside of raids, so either way it's rather irrelevant. I tend to disagree with people who claim that it's better to wait for the rewards at the end. In my own experience, taking it slow generally yields on average, around 5 or 6 engrams a strike, although that's not the main reason I run them. I enjoy strikes, and I enjoy killing the enemies. I really couldn't care less about that 30 or so faction rep I gain upon completion.

You play because it's fun to kill that one irrelevant mob some hundreds of thousands of times? You probably played wow and liked farming wild boars too.

To me, fun isn't found in speed runs. Unless of course I'm in the mood for them. Killing bosses isn't the only objective. The journey is also the objective. Based on your comments, I'm inclined to believe that you'd prefer to enter a zone with no enemies, just a boss. Kill the boss, get some loot. Repeat. See how we're traveling in circles here? O Thanks for replying in that sarcastic tone though, it gives me indication as to what im dealing with.

That's why I come out of strikes with more than 7 engrams every time right? Rushing is for children, I rarely even sprint.
