Really starting to hate this trend of everyone just skipping mobs and running to the end. If you skip in my group i'll sit and wait until you finish.

3 RespuestasI'll skip all the mobs I want and then sit at the end boss. I really do have all day. :)

3 Respuestas...A couple of nights ago I played a Cerberus Vae strike where the two I was with Sparrow'd past the first few legionaries to the first Dinkle-Deploy, so while waiting I shot a couple. First one droppeda blue engram and the second dropped a purple that became a Vanquisher. I don't skip the lvl24 mobs at this point. What I will skip are the lvl6s at the beginning of Sepiks though, if you stop for them it can add an extra 20min to the strike. Gotta balance efficiency with optimal drops.

Editado por Razor_Grrl: 10/27/2014 6:31:00 PMI usually just follow the group. But if one person is skipping and the other is killing mobs I always stick around to kill them too. I usually don't care how long a strike takes, and the reason I play destiny is to shoot at stuff, so I prefer not to skip past it. Eta: I skip past all the patrol mobs, once I get into the actual strike area I like to kill everything.
-
They do this, an complain they get no purple engram drops. Have to love the logic of some people.
-
3 RespuestasI dont waste time with people who stick around to kill mobs, especially the mobs that aren't even part of the strike and are there roaming patrol areas. Whenever I get matched with a team of those, I just run to darkness zone, suicide, and return to orbit. People who waste time on unnecessary mobs should be taken to the darkest corners of the moon and flayed with moon rope until they cry for their uncle.
-
I be like hey guys (via headset) cause I like to communicate when I play and coordinate strategy for certain missions and I give fair warning "hey guys I've played this map 15 times already so I'm skipping mobs, see you at the finish line"
-
i only skip mobs if im running vanguard tiger with my clan mates (and if the strike allows skipping everything till the end) skipping mobs is going to be a thing that people wont stop doing not when we have to grind through the same content over and over. when some new content gets added in the game sure ill take my time with that

Editado por You have been Smormu'd: 10/27/2014 10:12:10 PMAnd ill die in darkness area so it brings you to the boss, skipping mobs makes it faster, you think RNGesus would support you in killing mobs? I highly doubt it, you get a garenteed blue from completing Tiger, sometimes 2
-
I was once in a strike where the 2 people kept cycling through the same mobs before restriction zone. After 15 min I left.
-
14 RespuestasYou'll get more engrams by running the strikes quickly and getting them as mission rewards. In my experience you hardly get any rare engram drops during the actual strike if you clear mobs, I get more blue drops in patrols than I do in strikes. However if you run to the end and complete the strike quickly, you can farm engrams much more effectively from the rewards screen at the end.

Just had a match where a player sat at the start of the Nexus strike killing the mobs there while me and a Hunter went into the place, killed the Servitors, went all the way down into the Nexus fight and when the Nexus was below 10% he finally decided to show up. I reported him twice, Unhelpful, and inactive. (He wasn't doing the strike, might as well have not been there at all.)

1 RespuestaPick your battles dude, there's way lamer things out there than people striving for increased efficiency.

7 RespuestasIt's called speed running it's what hard core players do

This is just a flamebait post by a child. Letting you guys know.
-
1 RespuestaOh, hi Mr. Self-righteous, I don't care about your feelings. Now are you gonna help me kill this guy, or shall I kill myself in the next darkness zone to make you help me?
-
You definitely not gonna like this... http://goo.gl/Rd92iQ

4 Respuestasok. i can solo it faster than it would take for you to kill every damn mob anyways. i'm not here to farm, i'm here to finish it.
-
17 RespuestasI usually rush ahead and rocket myself in a dark zone to port everyone to that area. Whether you let me solo the strike makes no difference to me. I am happy to finish it for you. I am just rushing for the rep and marks.
-
2 RespuestasI dont understand people that stay to engage non strike levelled mobs. Pointless endeavour really.
-
Skip mobs. Do the strike. Do patrol during your own free time. /thread
-
It's not like strikes are hard or even require more than one or two to finish quickly. You kill the mobs, I'll finish the strike for ya kid.
-
Why? What's the point of killing the trash when you can run through and get things done faster? Oh wait there is no point. And if you sit at the beginning I have and will purposely die in the respawn zone giving you a death and porting you to me. If you are still afk I kite mobs too you, and report you.

4 RespuestasClearly you haven't gotten the bad juju bounty #nuffsaid

Just give the options to choose solo or team.
-
Yeah, I'm totally with you there man. There's nothing I'd rather do than spend as much time as I possibly can on a strike I've finish countless times only to be rewarded with some garbage blues or an Engram that ends up being for another class!
