That is just purely you not wanting to step down from your high horse and I do not judge because many people are like that. But for me, I can game just fine at 30 and 60 as long as its consistent. Do I want my games at 60 fps? Yes I do, but me and millions of others played Destiny just fine.

Uh no, playing Skyrim on the Xbox literally makes me sick. Next time you play it run around but look at the ground flickering over and over again rapidly. That popping coupled with the motion blur causes a lot of people to get motion sickness.

Man, you must not enjoy many many games then.

And yet many others do just fine, others even claim motion sickness while playing some games and then for certain games they are completely alright with 30 fps. Its more of the dips from a fps not being consistent.
-
That isn't what makes people sick, it's the screen tearing and the jarring moving.

I've never gotten sick playing a game, even games with fluctuating framerates and loads of screen tearing (Titanfall)

I'm not susceptible to motion sickness, never once in my life did I have an issue with it. I played 2000 hours of Fallout 3 and 1500 hours of Oblivion.

And you know what causes screen tearing? FPS dips, not 30 fps. When fps fluctuates below or between 30 and 60 fps screen tearing and jarring moving happens because of most tvs and moniters only display images on multiple of 30 fps well. Non-consistent frame rate is what causes screen tearing.
