Zelda is magical. She uses her power to change her gender, clothes, etc. This is in an attempt to trick Ganon so she can continue helping the hero of time, without either being the wiser. This is then ruined because in OoT Ganon finds out and captures Zelda, who was in Shiek form at the time of capture.
There is no debate here. Just TLoZ facts

Alright, show me the proof that you must have to know that Zelda used her magic to change her gender and her clothes. You just said these were TLoZ facts, so where'd you get 'em?
-
From the game. You can infer that sheik is a male but still has Zelda qualities, which include a burning desire to help the hero of time. And if sheik was a women, I think Ganon would have noticed a blonde 18 year old show up the same time a blonde 18 year old princess hadn't been seen in 10 years, both having connections to the hero of time. This would force Zelda to take the appearance of a man, throwing of Ganons scent for as long as possible.

Editado por Hunter: 8/7/2014 3:24:26 PMExactly. The appearance of a man. And you can also infer that Sheik is just a disguise, clothes that make her look like a man. Where does it explicitly say that Sheik is a man and not just a disguise donned by Zelda? And as you can see above, Nintendo just CONFIRMED that Sheik is female. So I don't even know why you're trying to argue your point.
-
If she used clothes alone, then you must admit that Zelda herself has man legs. (And/or may be a man herself).
-
Indeed. 0-0
-
It's a debate friend. Nintendo may have said Sheik is female but that doesn't mean us nerds can't argue about it.
-
What? Why would you? It's been confirmed by the creators. Why the hell would you argue after that? And if it's been confirmed by the creators wouldn't there be no debate?
-
And also, show me proof besides Nintendo that sheik is undeniably female
-
Well there isn't any other than the creators that undeniably proves she's female. But why would I need to show you more proof aside from the creators? That should be more than enough.
-
But I have more proof than the creators. I have gameplay and story design to back me up. All you have is Nintendo's word. They said that to shut everyone up. Please give adequate proof like mine that's sheik is female
-
But it makes more sense that sheik be male. Stop saying Nintendo confirmed it yeah I know they did. That's why I'm here. Because I still don't believe it. It's their game and they can say what they want about it. Me and a ton of other people think sheik could very possibly be a man.
-
It makes waaaaay more sense that Sheik is just Zelda in disguise. Seriously, you're just not making sense anymore.
-
Oh my god. I never said its not Zelda in disguise. What I'm saying is that in order to make her disguise more convincing, she took on the form of a man.
-
And I'm saying that it was just a disguise. Nothing more. No sex change, just a disguise. But it seems you just won't listen to reason. So this is goodbye.
-
Chill out man. I did say the appearance. I never said sheik had functional male genitalia. Sheik even has bulges in her chest. All I'm saying is that Sheik took the appearances to throw off Ganon but she couldn't totally become a fully fledged man because her magic wasn't strong enough.
-
So then what the hell was the point of this if you were just gonna say that sheik was a female in the end? Geez.
-
And sheik not Shiek sorry
