I don't understand how this could POSSIBLY be left up for debate since 1998. Sheik is Zelda. A persona made to keep hidden from ganon. They used manga and body types... Is that not the point of a disguise? To hide who you really are?
I DON'T UNDERSTAND.

1 RespuestaThe Iron Sheik?
-
Read that initially as Shrek. Was quite taken aback for a moment!

In other news Yoshis real name is T. Yoshisaurus Munchinkoopas

Wow... I'm hoping some of those people are just trolling pretty hard. "The game is fictional therefore the character can be whatever you want." That is profoundly stupid. This just in: "That guy in the funny green clothes on Zelda games is actually the character Zelda, why... because some illiterate bastard thought so." "P.S. "Aerith didn't die... she was just le tired." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQFKtI6gn9Y

I thought it was common knowledge that Sheik was female.
-
If you don't know who Sheik is I don't get how you can call yourself a Zelda fan..
-
3 RespuestasIt's ok. Look like Sheik will get back to her shemale roots in the new super smash bros

17 RespuestasZelda is magical. She uses her power to change her gender, clothes, etc. This is in an attempt to trick Ganon so she can continue helping the hero of time, without either being the wiser. This is then ruined because in OoT Ganon finds out and captures Zelda, who was in Shiek form at the time of capture. There is no debate here. Just TLoZ facts

3 RespuestasHow is this an issue? it literally says in the manual that it's zelda in disguise.... and it's been a while, but doesn't she reveal the disguise at the end of the game? "My cars manual says the hazard button is on the dash, but I choose to believe otherwise"

*Playing Melee* *Zelda transforms, She changes into...a guy?what? why? *reads Shiek trophy Okay, never mind, got it *reads Samus trophy ..Oh wow...

7 RespuestasI saw this yesterday. I don't even PLAY Legend of Zelda games and I knew this, so the fact it had to be confirmed for people who I'm assuming actually do is pretty sad honestly. Just playing as Zelda/Sheik in Smash Bros was enough for me to understand what was going on.

1 RespuestaI didn't think her gender was that ambiguous. Sheik is Zelda in disguise. She uses magic to change her eye color and wears a breast reduction wrap(I forget what they're called) so she can move like a ninja. It's kind of ridiculous to think she gender swaps as well.

13 RespuestasEditado por Vgnut: 8/6/2014 8:47:17 AMThe -blam!-? Sheik is a made up persona by Zelda. It's Zelda wearing a costume. Is Spiderman not Peter Parker? Literally the same scenario.

7 RespuestasI don't play Zelda, and I knew that.

1 RespuestaZelda obviously used magic in her transformation, and the new model for sheik that has an obviously different BMI suggested that she used magic to change her gender aswell. This is further supported by the fact that SHEIK is refereed to as "male" throughout the game, and Zelda herself states that she will transform herself into a male via magic in the manga. It's been a debate because all these years, the evidence all pointed towards Sheik being male.
